You'd be surprised!

So I thought I would high light how much you can change the look of your house with a SMALL budget.

I will first start by saying we would never done anything we did in the house without pintrest giving us a lot of inspiration and confidence.

So we started with painting the living room, kitchen, and hall way. This took one and a half gallons, each gallon cost 37$.

Then we sanded down the cupboards and painted them, we just bought a gallon of white paint, 37$ (Benjamin Moore was on a great sale). We used the same hinges and spray painted them to look new, the spray paint was $5.

We bought new hard wear for the cupboards, the handles. For 28 we paid $48.

We then bought a small can of yellow for the closet door, which was $15- I have a lot left, might do our front door as well.

We then painted our bathroom I got a small can for $19- and I did three coats with that! Finished the whole bathroom. I painted the tiles with left over white which was free.

This last week we have tackled our counter top and back splash, both with tools and adhesives costs just over $200!

The next project is staining the cabinet in the bathroom :) which should not be more than $50.

Refurbishing is WAY less than new!

Another normal day

Some pictures of progress in the house.

Chawezi watching his favourite movie at the moment- Madagascar 2.

I can't wait for all of the painting sanding and grouting to be done!!!!

Photo post February

Some of the kids on here :)

There are some of the kitchen, we started to tackle the back splash today. I am going to save the old back splash which is smashed to pieces and make a mosaic mural in the back yard by painting each piece a different colour. Should be a fun project when it gets warm again. (If that ever happens).

The pictures shows the actual new tiles we are putting up in the kitchen, I love them :)

The last picture is of our hall closet in the same room as the kitchen, there we put up shelves and boxes for organizing some of our paper things :) like an office in the closet! I sold a dresser we were not using, and used the money from that to buy all our supplies for that project.

Anyway, will post again soon.
